The waiter's service made you feel like royalty eating here. The food was also very tasty, but be warned! You'll just be eating and suddenly bite on a chilli and your mouth will be filled with an explosion of spice that's hotter than the surface of the sun. We were also taking selfies and another customer photo bombed us which led to a wholesome interaction. All around a nice experience, would go again.

Love the food here, it's a weekly tradition! I chose to dine in this evening. Very busy, as always but the food comes out so well presented. Great staff and great value

Brown Rice is an institution in the Kingston area. The food, service, and atmosphere are all outstanding. My one little feedback would be that the Christmas lights should come down after Christmas, as it takes away from the satisfaction of the atmosphere. The service was so friendly and very professional. All of the staff knew the menu back to front and could help with recommendations. The food was really delicious, I would definitely come back.

This place was a total surprise. Not only was it a nice vibe, but the food was incredible. It was presented so beautifully, even just a soda water looked like a cocktail. Everything tasted amazing.

Food and staff were amazing. Spring rolls were a show. Curries were flavorsome and right amount of spice. Pad That and Pad ew yew have plenty of meat and vegetables. Only don’t side is no deserts available even though on menu.

One of the best Thai restaurants this side of town! It’s not hard to find good Thai food in Melbourne - plenty of options in every suburb. Brown Rice is no exception - super delicious food and they have all of your favourites. But the dine in experience is something else. Staff are super nice, caring, and they’ll remember you and your name. The presentation of the dishes and drinks is also exceptional - just have a look at some of the photos and you’ll see what I mean!

Disappointing. Visited on a hot summer night - the restaurant was uncomfortably hot (one broken A/C and the other insufficient to cool the restaurant - the staff weren’t bothered so it seemed like a long-term problem). Service was poor, one staff running all the tables. Food wasn’t great. Disappointing as we used to enjoy going here. The standards have slipped.

Really nice place, staff and delicious food all round. We’ve started with some prawn spring roll, which didn’t look like a spring roll but was dished so good, and stuffed curry veg. They’ve been both presented so well and yum We also ordered gin and tonic which was presented well too For main we had green curry, pad thai and pad basil which was all great taste and enough portions and awesome presentation. (Never liked the taste of chickens in asian restaurants in general, so if that person, this place isn’t exception) Only giving 4 stars as we were unfortunate to see one of staff throw a full glass of wine on a customer, they’ve apologised but was actually ruined the night for them
